Weed & Algae Control:
We know that Aquatic Plants are needed to support a healthy lake/pond, however, many Aquatic Plants grow to nuisance levels and/or are exotic plants. These exotic plants, such as Eurasian Watermilfoil, out-compete your native plants which have a drastic effect on the ecology of the waterbody, fishing, recreational sporting activities and property values.

Water Quality Analysis:
Clear Water Lake Management offers full water quality analysis for lakes or ponds. We use an independent laboratory (Prein & Newhof) for our analyzing. They can detect the smallest amounts of contamination and impurities. Water systems are very sensitive and even a slight problem can quickly lead to a more serious problem. We feel this small service can ultimately save you time and money.
Harvesting:
Harvesters are used to cut the weeds and remove them from the water. Harvesting can be used to quickly clear an area of infestation, used when herbicides and algaecides are undesired and to avoid delays in product use. Please keep in mind that many aquatic plants grow from fragmentation and if harvesting is not done properly it can lead to more growth.

Phragmites:
Phragmites, also known as common reed, is a perennial, wetland grass that can grow to 15 feet in height. Phragmites is becoming widespread and is threatening the ecological health of wetlands and the Great Lakes coastal shoreline. Invasive phragmites creates tall, dense stands which degrade wetlands and coastal areas by crowding out native plants and animals, blocking shoreline views, reducing access for swimming, fishing, and hunting and can create fire hazards from dry plant material.
